We have been working toward APP Membership for a long time. Our commitment to health and safety in body piercing helped ensure that our application was just approved!
The APP is an international organization that has defined environmental, procedural, safety, training, certification, and jewelry standards. These guidelines are the gold standard for the piercing industry.
Being an APP Member means that Will abides by the APP standards, which are much more comprehensive than the health and safety requirements put forth by the New York State Department of Health and Albany County Department of Health.
Will VonDoome is the only body piercer in Albany and the greater Capital Region that follows the APP standards.In fact, there are no other APP Members in New York State within a 50 mile radius.
