Piercing of the Week - Vertical Tragus Surface Piercing

Here is a surface piercing sometimes called a sideburn or vertical tragus done with Anatometal jewelry. We anodized the 4mm flat tops ice blue (an in house complimentary service) to compliment the client's eyes.  

Notice the jewelry lies completely flush with the skin - which is essential for healing.


A curved barbells or improperly angled bars are not appropriate for surface piercings. They constrict the skin and apply uneven pressure which frequently results in rejection.
