Here is a vertical surface piercing with 4mm Green Opals from Anatometal.
This is sometimes called a "vertical tragus piercing" due to its placement near the ear but is more properly referred to as a vertical surface piercing.
Using appropriate jewelry is ESSENTIAL for surface piercings. Curved barbells are not suitable for this piercing. A curved barbell will not heal and ultimately reject due to the pressure of the jewelry on the skin.
