Piercing of the Week - Another Fabulous Conch Piercing

Here is a picture of a conch piercing on a long time client. We used an 18ga post and  3mm white CZ from Neometal. 

Notice the angle of the piercing is parallel to the ground. This parallel angle limits the pressure that the jewelry places on the ear thereby reducing the likelihood of irritation. 

A parallel angle is not the ideal angle for every single piercing - for example, a nostril piercing require a different angle - but it is a demonstration of how closely every client should scrutinize their piercer's portfolio.
